"The Alliant Energy Foundation recently announced 25 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors throughout Iowa and Wisconsin, including two from Mauston.
Kaitlyn Mielke and Jessica Rollins, both seniors at Mauston High School, received Alliant Energy Foundation $1,000 Community Service Scholarships."

"Here is some stuff from the world of TF..On Tuesday..April 23rd...Taylor Miller signed her national letter of intent to attend UW-Parkside. UW-Parkside is a Division 2 NCAA University. Taylor will be competing for the UW-Parkside Rangers in cross country and track and field. Taylor is one of two scholarship athletes on the girls track and field team. Andrea Thomas will be attending Saint Cloud State University. She will be competing for the Huskies as a member of the women's basketball team. The boys and girls team swept the Mauston early Bird meet held on Monday April 21st with both team winning the team championship titles.
On Tuesday, April 22nd the Frosh/Soph TF teams had a very good night at the West Salem F/S Invite. The boys earned the team championship title while the girls team placed 2nd at the invite. The varsity team competed at he 12 team -49th Annual Knights of Columbus Relays held at UW- Lacrosse on Saturday April 26th...The boys team placed 2nd out of the twelve team field. The girls team placed 5th out of the twelve team field. Senior, Taylor Miller, the 4 x 800 relay team of Andrea Thomas-Megan Thomas-Dana Osthoff and Taylor Miller as well as the 4 x 200 relay team of Ellie Luke-Makala Teske-Mariah Teske and Allyssa Wietkum posted performances that rank in the top ten in girls divison 2 track and field in Wisconsin for the 2014 season.
